Excellent Thriller, Beautiful Narration
- Loved this intriguing thriller, MacDonald weaves twists and turns into this fascinating story of two families. I love the house swap premise, it definitely kept me guessing. The beautiful Irish accent of the narrators left that gorgeous linguistic lilt in my head for days after finishing the book. A really fun listen. It will make you think and wonder and then it will shock you.

Intriguing Premise
- This story was alright and had some exciting turns of events, but it wasn’t nearly as twisted as the title suggests. The most off-putting aspect of this audiobook is the character of Kate. Sure, some of the other male characters were not even close to admirable, downright despicable even, but Kate? She’s a hypocrite. I didn’t like her at all. The most compelling thing about the story is the premise, the scary thought come to life: What if something horribly, horribly wrong happens while living in a home exchange? The four-narrator approach to producing this book was the perfect casting call.
