Not Bad
- So, there are some good things in this book, but as a continuous narrative, I had issues with it. It felt uneven, and there were parts which dragged. Yet, there were some great moments and great characters within. The characters I liked the most were Josten and Mullen. In fact, I would like a book with just them and their antics and adventures. I connected with them early. Individually, they were ok, but together, they were magic. Livia and Silver were interesting, and even Caleb to a certain point. As for the story itself, it was ok, but it started to fizzle out for me in the last few chapters. At this point, I will no be reading the other books in this trilogy.
