Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

“Certainly, Whitewater has never exactly grabbed the imagination of the lay reader. In order to try to make its complex financial transactions and incestuous business relationships more accessible, Mr. Stewart…has created a novelistic narrative, filled with colorful scenes.”  New York Times Book Review
“It's Stewart's depiction of Hillary Rodham Clinton as a born politician trapped in the body of a politician’s spouse that makes Blood Sport an invaluable addition to the growing body of work on the administration.”  Entertainment Weekly
“Stewart has provided what the discussion of the Whitewater morass badly needs: coherence. A shrewd and lucid stylist, Stewart makes connections among events that came to public notice in bafflingly random ways.”  Scientific American
“A vivid portrait of political power, political and personal intrigue, and how information, controlled and manipulated at the right time, can change the course of lives, careers, and ultimately, history…The revelations of Blood Sport will reverberate through this and future presidencies.”  Amazon.com, editorial review
