BUMMER!

Oh I was SO excited by the summary and title of this book and unfortunately it was more of a political thriller than I prefer. The narration is wonderful, but unfortunately based off the summary and what the ACTUAL story is, I was expecting something WAY more disturbing than this.

Superb narration and production

As the author of the book, I can't, of course, comment on the narrative (although, yes, I know the story has a star rating, but that's a required field, so I will allow myself this small immodesty). But what I can say is that Robin Sachs (who died recently, I am sad to report), has done an incredible job with the narration. His accent and characterisations are amazing. He combines sinister and sexy in a way that's just perfect for the book, and brings the whole thing to dramatic life in a way that is quite remarkable. A wonderful production from Blackstone Audio.
