Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

The Invisible Code has immense charm…Best of all are the two main characters, particularly Bryant, whose fine British stodginess is matched perfectly by the agility of his crime-solving mind.” New York Times
“Excellent…In the light of the challenges that Fowler has given his heroes in prior books, it’s particularly impressive that he manages to surpass himself once again.” Publishers Weekly (starred review)
“Witty, charming, intelligent, wonderfully atmospheric and enthusiastically plotted.” Times (London), praise for the series

Another marvellous romp

Bryant and May are a wonderful pair of eccentrics who solve crimes that nobody else wants to know about. Tim Goodman is a wonderful narrator who brings the old pair (and their motley crew) to life with aplomb. In this episode the PCU have a chance to bring about the downfall of their nemesis, Oscar Kasabian, with every possibility that he'll get them if they don't get him first. As usual, nothing in Bryant and May's lives is as simple as it first appears!...
