Jamaica Kincaid, a finalist for the Neustadt International Prize for Literature in 2017, is the author of short stories, novels, and nonfiction. Her 2013 novel See Now Then was a New York Times bestseller. She was born in St. John’s and is a former reporter for the New Yorker magazine.
