Author Bio: Lorraine Bartlett
Lorraine Bartlett is the New York Times bestselling author of numerous books and short stories, including the Jeff Resnick Mysteries (writing as L. L. Bartlett) and the Booktown Mysteries (writing as Lorna Barrett). She garnered a coveted Agatha nomination for best novel of 2009. She honed her characterization and plotting skills as a frequent writer for romance magazines. Her manuscript Murder in Morton Mills was a finalist in the St. Martin’s/Malice Domestic contest. Bartlett lives in Rochester, New York, with her husband and three felines.
Author Bio: Laurie Cass
Laurie Cass grew up in Michigan and graduated from college in the 80’s with a (mostly unused) degree in geology. She turned to writing in the late nineties. After a number of years in management, she felt the need to move on and took a job with fewer responsibilities. A month later, she was dead bored and began to consider writing as a way to wake up her brain. She started reading a lot of books on writing and happened across a particular sentence: “What’s it going to be, reasons or results?”
