Short tidbits are engrossing
- Nicholas Sansbury Smith has penned many a story sharing the dark world of an invented virus, turning everyday people into monsters, with only the counter-invention of another virus that kills off those infected. Problem was the remaining, called Variants turned out to be even more virulent and cruel in their insatiable appetite for humans. When Smith brought this book of short stories to the public, there was suspicion that the short stories wouldn’t hold the reader and listener steadfast in their enjoyment of the longer versions. But, this volume 1 of short stories does more than just fill in… they are as engrossing and contagious as his longer stories in full novel form. Listen on and enjoy the surprise.
