Page turner

If you’re looking for the quintessential escape book for that vacation listen-to, this might totally fulfill your need. Not to deride intellectual pursuits, but there’s something about this book that just brings out the smiles of enjoyable reading, even with its somewhat dark plot. When was there ever a calm and peaceful story written about a creepy hotel located in an isolated piece of land? With a style of going forward, then backward, for revealing the plot and characters, this story grabs hold and doesn’t let go. Recommended.

Page Turner

This book is fantastic! If you are thinking about listening to it, you really should. Told from a past, present, and future perspective change where each perspective is just as interesting as the next. As you start to put the pieces together the author does a great job of making it all fall into place in a way that makes you feel like a detective. Something I really liked about it was the way it's told from a millennial standpoint with modern day reliability. There's no smoke and mirrors with the author trying to convince you they're a genius. Highly recommend this one.
