Editorial Reviews

“A riveting novel of suspense...[that] will keep the reader guessing to the shocking conclusion.” Publishers Weekly
“In Clark’s trademark fashion, suspects and red herrings proliferate, and all the while the guilty party is within arm’s reach. Supporting roles by Eliza’s boyfriend, Mack, and her KEY News co-workers help make this an entertaining entry in a pleasant...series.” Booklist
“Bestselling author Clark has another winner with this nail-biting story…There are suspects galore, tangled plots, raw emotions, and details of the dangers of a public life when it involves family. Pages whip by, and it’s impossible to put down before you come to the final surprise.” RT Book Reviews (4½ stars)
“Adding to the suspense is Clark’s masterful description of a mother’s anguish and near despair over her child’s abduction. Clark scatters red herrings along the path, ratcheting up the tension, as this fast-paced story moves to its surprising denouement.” Nashville Tennessean
“[Clark] uses insider knowledge of the television and news business to create action and intrigue.” East Brunswick Home News Tribune
