Finally, informative non-fiction that's not boring!
- As the title says, this book was far from boring. In fact for me it felt almost like listening to a character novel. The book is written in the fashion of one mans journey through the incredible quirky world of mnemonists, memory championships, and memory history. At times you really do feel like your with him on his quest as you meet strange characters and acquire magic powers. Mike Chamberlain does an excellent job of bringing these characters to life and keeping up your interest in what could easily have been made very dull. There is also quite a lot of good information, enough that, if you wanted to go about improving your memory and learning like me, this is a good place to start.
