The anti Cruise

I've read/listened to a number of the Jack Reacher books and only now, with the release of another Jack Reacher film did it dawn on me...
Jack Reacher is a 250 pound 6 foot 5 inch hulking brute. Big, mean, ugly, nasty...and blonde.
So, of course, Tom Cruise is perfect casting.

These books are great and this one is no exception!

Gotta love Jack Reacher

Jack Reacher is just a good hero. He’s likable, tough as nails, and just generally bad-ass. Lee Child is a fantastic writer, and he knows his way around an action scene. He creates characters that are believable, and his villains are suitably evil. And crazy. I also really like Jonathan McClain’s narration in this installment. He’s got a great voice for this book, and I was thoroughly engrossed. I can’t wait to read or listen to more in the series.
