Young Claribel was a girl taught goodness by her parents and lived a happy life, especially when she went to school. Claribel loved her teacher, a kindly woman who taught her students the importance of honesty above all else. When she had to show her work to the teacher, the teacher believed the Claribel had simply gotten confused and helped her solve the problem. Claribel, wracked with guilt over lying to her teacher over the true reason for her not doing her work, dreams of angels and lilies and realizes what she must do to stay on her path of honesty and goodness.
