The search for answers on Earth has become deadly.

After the Sphere mysteriously goes dark, Nolen Aromas and William Walker double down, throwing their enormous wealth into an intricate dance of wits to control Wendy, Earth’s only known AI. However, a newly freed Wendy has plans of her own, and Earth and the battered Martian colony find themselves pawns in the dangerous game.

On Mars, the colonists desperately battle to keep essential life support systems running, hoping to give Charlize and her unborn daughter a chance to survive. Kai fights to retain control of the Sphere in Wendy’s absence, not knowing who to trust. Back on Earth, Burnette simply wants to know that her daughter is safe.
