Perfect for a movie
- Part catastrophe story, part thriller. The perfect storm of crazy events and threats may not be the most likely, but some of the cyber-terrorism and lows of human behavior seem chillingly plausible. It’s definitely in the vein of some of the end-of-the-world movies, following a fairly clueless and unlikely hero as he struggles to save his family against ever-worsening events. The dialogue and plot feel very screenplay-like, making it a great fit for audio – perfect for a long road trip. It has enough twists, turns, and misdirection to keep it interesting. You’ll likely find yourself worrying about your own survival prospects in similar circumstances, and wonder if you should be stockpiling rations and drinking water! Exciting and entertaining – definitely recommended for thriller and dystopian fans.
