The anti Cruise

I've read/listened to a number of the Jack Reacher books and only now, with the release of another Jack Reacher film did it dawn on me...
Jack Reacher is a 250 pound 6 foot 5 inch hulking brute. Big, mean, ugly, nasty...and blonde.
So, of course, Tom Cruise is perfect casting.
These books are great and this one is no exception!

Gotta love Jack Reacher
- Jack Reacher is just a good hero. He’s likable, tough as nails, and just generally bad-ass. Lee Child is a fantastic writer, and he knows his way around an action scene. He creates characters that are believable, and his villains are suitably evil. And crazy. I also really like Jonathan McClain’s narration in this installment. He’s got a great voice for this book, and I was thoroughly engrossed. I can’t wait to read or listen to more in the series.
