I've been waiting for this epic story!

Dianna Love's stories always leave me speechless. I feel like this one had an even more profound impact because it has been a long time coming. Storm and Evalle have always been special. To see them get this story, and to have it done so well, gives me the warm, fuzzy feelings you get when you see people you love happy. I've been rooting for them since the beginning of the series, and when I looked back to see when that was, I realized I've known them longer than some of my close friends in "real" life.

This novella packed the punch of a novel. Taking Evalle and Storm out of Atlanta for this book was a great decision. I liked seeing the different culture and more of Storm's heritage and family. The way Love brought Evalle into the story was genius. I was wondering how things were going to play out, because she was in quite the pickle, and I didn't think it was a good time for a vacay, but of course, Dianna made it work.

I've probably said it before, but I'll say it again. You can't go wrong with a Dianna Love book, especially the Belador Series. The stories are strong, the characters are captivating, and it's easy to become enamored with them. Now is a great time to jump into the Belador world. Each book can stand on it's own, but they are all so magnificent, do yourself a favor and binge this series.

As a side note, I also listened to the audiobook of this story. It was wonderful! The narration was perfect. I love when a narrator comes through crystal clear, and adds in a little extra allure to a good story. I don't think any performance could have been better than the one Stephen Thorne did. So don't be afraid to check out the audiobook as well.

Belador Series Book 10.5.

Evalle and Storm are determined to leave Treoir for a bit to get some time alone, but a call from Storm's estranged uncle changes their plans. Several deaths at the reservation have led Storm's uncle to believe that some sort of magic is involved and the Storm is the tribe's only hope at finding the truth. However, Storm and Evalle must hide their own supernatural gifts to avoid being seen as the enemy. This book gives Storm a backstory and fills in some of his family's history.

If you've been waiting to find out more about Storm, this is the book for you!

Audio Review:
Stephen R. Thorne has become the voice of the Beladors. He reads the story as a narration and the character's words as a play. This gives a clear delineation of spoken words vs thoughts or actions.

Evalle and Storm by Dianna Love

Evalle and Storm by Dianna Love, Beladors Book 10.5

Evalle needs to heal (from the prior book kidnapping and torture). Storm wants to bond with Evalle to make her stronger. And of course, because he loves her. Evalle doesn’t want to harm Storm because the insidious dark magic is still inside her.
It’s a bit of a love story in this urban fantasy series. Storm and Evalle are working to solve a murder, this time from Storm’s past Indian heritage, when evil and dark magic threaten their lives.

This book is best read as part of the series, but because it takes place mostly with just the two of them from the series, I think it could be read as a standalone romantic suspense. The first couple of chapters do include many of the standard cast of characters including the adorable Feenix, the pet gargoyle.

I listened to the audible version by Stephen R Thorne who has narrated since book 4 of the series. Thorne has mastered the pronunciation of all the interesting character names and locations. He is a dynamic narrator with an impressive accent.

I really enjoy this urban fantasy series. There is always an incredible amount of danger, thrills, evil magic and the triumph of good. There are tense situations and no easy work for all concerned. I’m really glad to know the series will continue.

Will Evalle and Storm bond or go their separate ways

Dianna Love has done it again. The ever waiting question as to; will Evalle and Storm bond. When you read the story the characters seem to come to life as you travel their journey with them. I found the story had all kinds of tragic twist and turns and had a very uplifting ending. This proved to be another great read. I would highly recommend this book.

What a wild ride!

Dianna Love has written this lovely series and continues to do it. I love Evalle and the way she’s been written and how her story continues to be amazing. The story has a good flow to it and leaves you desiring more of the story till you finish it. She doesn’t leave you disappointed while reading the book. There is plenty of action and romance in this book. It keeps you on the edge of your seat as your getting further into the story.

Steven R Thorn reads the book with good empathies and does Storm real well. You can imagine the skin walker standing and growling with how he reads his parts. It’s the first time hearing him reading a book and I do enjoy it. His voice is mellow and calming, not one that sounds grating. He does well in reading the book, and giving the book life to imaginations with his voice.

I love Evalle, and her journey with Storm was worrisome and yet it was exciting. I worried about Evalle with the condition she was but everyone has to over come their demons. Dianna writes it in such a way that you feel for Storm and you feel for Evalle. I definitely would recommend this book to my friends. It’s fun and exciting.

Another Great Belador Story

When Storm's uncle summons him to help with a tribal matter, he and Evelle travel to his ancestral lands. In the process of solving the murders that have been happening, they learn a great deal about Storms past and about each other.
I've always loved Storm's character; his fierce love of Evelle, the insecurities brought about by his mixed heritage and his mother's legacy. He is, in so many ways, fundamentally broken, and ye he is one of the strongest characters in the series and the perfect compliment to Evelle.
This story provides plenty a little mystery a little action, a little sex and a whole new look at both characters. This audio version is well read by a narrator whose voice is easy on the ears and easy to follow.
I loved reading this one.
