The Montgomery Ink series continues with a spin-off in Colorado Springs, where a familiar Montgomery finds her place in a new tattoo shop, and in the arms of her best friend. Adrienne Montgomery is finally living her dreams. She’s opened a tattoo shop with her brother, Shep, and two of her cousins from Denver and she’s ready to take the city by storm with her art—as long as she can handle the pressure. When her new neighbors decide her shop isn’t a great fit for the community, however, she’ll have to lean on the one person she didn’t expect to fall for along the way … her best friend. Mace Knight takes pride in two things: his art and his daughter. He knows he’s taking a risk by starting over in a new shop with the Montgomerys, but the stakes are even higher when he finds himself wanting Adrienne more than he thought possible. The two fall fast and hard but they know the rules; they can’t risk their friendship, no matter how hot it is between the sheets and how many people try to stand in their way.

Editorial Reviews

“The first book in the Montgomery Ink series spin-off has a heaping dose of steamy scenes that will have readers fanning themselves…Ryan takes a chance on her characters by making them feel real and authentic and not picture perfect…This is a quick friends-to-lovers read that will leave readers wanting to give the next one in the series a try.” RT Book Reviews

Best friends to lovers ❤️

The first book on Colorado Springs Montgomerys is just right. With the right amount of friendship, love, laughter and mistery. Adriene has opened up her tattoo shop. Her best friend Mace is as always by her side working at the shop. Feelings are developing while Mace goes through his own personal turmoil and Adriene’s shop is being targeted. They will have to choose between friendship and love. I love the Montgomerys, they are so many but so united as family. I enjoyed this book so much. Mr Arden has a great voice and adds so much with his deep timbre. Awesome.

Fantastic first book in series

Hot bff’s go from friends to partners

Addi sinks everything into opening Montgomery Ink Too with the help of her bff Mace and her cousin Shep.
Everything starts fine until someone takes offence that a tattoo and piercing shop opens up.
While dealing with vandalism of the shop and Mace’s ex showing up leaving his daughter with Mace without warning.
Things heat between them and they keep it secret trying to find out what it means and where there friendship is going.
I really liked that even though they’ve had feelings for each other neither had romantic feelings till they broke the deal and started getting physical between them.
This was the audio book and even though I usually not a fan of a guy doing female voices after awhile I didn’t mind so much. Joe Arden has a lovely sexy voice but I always feel that these would be better with a female and male narrators.
Absolutely love this series and the other Montgomery series

really love these characters

I fell in love with the new Montgomery series. Fallen Ink was a great way to meet some new characters which I am sure will be near and dear to those of us who have read the other Montgomery books, but will also attract new fans. I love Mace. He is a great guy who wants to do what is right, even if he goes about it the wrong way sometimes. His daughter is the number one person in his life with his best friend Adrienne coming in a very close second. Adrienne is strong and determined opening a new tattoo parlor with her best friend, her brother and one other tattoo artist. They find themselves up against some hard odds as they are not welcomed by all in the community. Slowly Adrienne and Mace find that they could possibly be more then just best friends. Both are afraid to loose what hey have in the moment for what could be the best thing for their future. As I don’t want to give any of the good parts away, I will leave this with saying both of them are going to have to work hard and look inside themselves to find a love worth risking their friendship for. Another great book by Carrie Ann Ryan and I definitely recommend for first time readers and those who have been along for the whole ride.

I liked the readers voice a lot. I really enjoy Joe Ardens voice. May have been fun to hear in two voices one male and one female but i enjoyed this!

A Steamy Friends to Lovers Story

I have to start off my review by saying I love the Montgomery Family I have never read or listened to a book about any one of them I didn't love and this first book in the Colorado Springs series is no exception.

Adrienne and Mace have been friends for years but they have never taken the next step although if they are honest they have both wanted to. But what if it didn't work was it worth risking their friendship?

The chemistry between Adrienne and Mace is palpable and so hot. Theirs is the kind of close friendship where they were bound to fall for each other, and Mace has fallen hard, he's head over heels for his longtime best friend Adrienne. I really liked him he ’s both strong and sensitive he can be dominating but he's always respectful, he's also very passionate. I really liked Adrienne she has such a strong spirit and is determined to fight for what she wants.

Someone is trying to ruin their new tattoo shop, the tension builds throughout the story and it's against this backdrop that these two finally give in to their desire for each other.

This is a really great Friends to Lovers story where the characters have such depth, as you would expect from Carrie Ann, and once I started listening to it I could not stop, I just had to find out what would happen next and what the outcome would be.

I loved this couple they were so very good together they have such a crazy fun relationship both in and out of the bedroom. I also loved how they tried to keep their relationship a secret, no way was that going to work! Another hit for Carrie Ann Ryan.

The narration by Joe Arden is excellent and he managed to convey all the drama and feelings beautifully.
