Story

Not for the shy of spiritial heart

This is not a book for everyone, as many who may have been brought up in a Bible fearing environment have long ago drifted away. Still, for those interested in Biblical history, and especially the beginnings of what is addresses so often as God’s kingdom, then this book will prove to be both enlightening and scholarly. Pink is not one to go with the flow. Rather, this author chooses a methodology of understanding, breaking down the points of thought in succinct small doses… or notes… or “gleanings.” As such, those of spiritual conviction will find this book challenging, yet easy to listen to.

Author Bio: Arthur W. Pink

Arthur Walkington Pink (1886–1952) was one of the most influential evangelical authors in the second half of the twentieth century. He was born in England and converted in his twenties. He served as a pastor in Colorado and other locations until he decided to concentrate on writing and speaking at conferences. The next year he started a monthly magazine, Studies in the Scriptures, which he edited until his death. His writing focused on biblical living and sparked a revival of expository preaching. His works include The Attributes of God, The Patience of God, and The Satisfaction of Christ, among many others.
