Plants Provide Healing
- Typically with these medical type books, I scrutinize the author and the delivery of their message. It took me half the book to realize that I didn’t do that with Dr. Low Dog. I really should have discredited much of what she said because she doesn’t cite sources, a big no-no for me usually. On that front, her book fails utterly. On all other fronts, the book soars. I discovered many names for herbal plants that exist in my yard and region, like feverfew which I mistook for chamomile for many years. Also, I learned a lot about plants in general, and respect that Low Dog believes in using modern medicine for extreme cases. The book provides easy to follow recipes in abundance.
