Robert Root-Bernstein is a professor of physiology at Michigan State University. He studies the evolution of physiological control systems, autoimmune diseases, and scientific creativity. He and his wife Michele have coauthored numerous titles including Spark of Genius and The 13 Thinking Tools of the World’s Most Creative People.
