Editorial Reviews

Editorial Reviews

“Laughter and lust are delightfully intertwined in the sequel to A Rogue by Any Other Name...Pippa is a remarkable heroine: smart, funny, beautiful, and genuine. The interactions between Pippa and Cross recall the great screwball romances and are enormously entertaining...A highly enjoyable Regency romance.” Publishers Weekly
“At moments heart-wrenching, at moments comedic, at all times entertaining and satisfying, this book deserves a read if you’re a romance fan.” Kirkus Reviews

Story

She was great...he had moments....

I loved our heroine’s scientific mind, unusual in a historical romance. I loved our hero’s acceptance and admiration of her mind along with her spectacles. I did not like our hero’s guilt at a family tragedy that in no way was his fault. The hero was not living a worthwhile life prior to the tragedy but after it didn’t improve and he rejected his birthright. This is what made our hero less than stellar and irksome at times. I enjoyed her throughout the book. I enjoyed their banter throughout the book. He got in the way several times and almost torpedoed their romance. Thank goodness our heroine had smarts and pluck. Narration by Rosalyn Landor was superb.
