Story

Great story, but volume goes up and down.

This is one of the great James Patterson's Private, murder mystery novels. I like the narrators voice and slight English accent. I like how the chapters alternate between the investigators view and the killers view BUT the volume decreases several levels each time the killer is talking, making it necessary for me to turn the volume either up or down each new chapter. I know that this is for dramatic purposes and to distinguish between the two, but it's very frustrating as I can't keep the volume constant on my device. I have listened to close to 100 books on tape and have never experienced this nor had to change the volume as many times as I have so far with this recording.
