When a series of attacks against women on her beat are blown off by hardened detectives, Boston police sergeant Traci Ross launches her own investigation. Author Bio: John E . Hakala
John E. Hakala grew up in the Pacific Northwest, attended Washington State University, and worked as a stock broker and police officer. Now retired from the LAPD, he currently owns and operates a respected private investigation agency. John holds several US patents, is a licensed general building contractor, licensed private investigator, a private pilot, criminal defense investigator for the Los Angeles County Superior Court panel and a member of Mensa. He has appeared on ABC television’s 20/20 program as a surveillance expert. When not investigating crimes, writing, or inventing, John enjoys golf and travel.
