Fantastic!
- Picking up a couple of weeks after The Forgetting Moon, Mr. Durfee wastes no time as he takes us back to this sprawling world he created. The stakes are higher as the race to find and possess the Five Weapons of Laijon and their corresponding Angel stones continues. It was refreshing to visit with existing characters again, as well as meet the new ones he introduces. I especially appreciate the nod he gives to The Lord of the Rings. The tale is epic, the lore is outstanding, and the characters are exceptional. I cannot wait until the 3rd book comes out. One more thing . . . if you like animal companions in fantasy, or in any genre in general, there is a dog named Beer Mug in here. And he is the most goodest boy, he is. Mr. Durfee, take these 5 stars . . . you earned it my friend.
