Season two of this postapocalyptic saga opens with a motley band of heroes traveling down a treacherous river—but nature is only the beginning of the challenges they will face. In the shadows of the city of Corinth, a great evil uses fear and violence to control the minds of the masses. Meanwhile, a prophet says the coming of Jesus is nigh, but are there truly divine forces at work or merely the manipulation of man? More than sixty actors, location recordings, sound effects, and an original score make these five hours of audio adventure a true “mind movie.”

Editorial Reviews

“An immersive, ambitious, and boldly realized saga. The real-life locations and ensemble create an utterly convincing world in the mind’s ear.” Dirk Maggs, BBC producer of Neverwhere and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy
“Very cinematic. I love the way you get your actors out there in the wilds with a recorder.” Tom Lopez, ZBS Foundation
“A full cast and sound effects (derived from on-location recordings throughout southern Maine) set this production apart from other serial dramas. The natural settings and sound effects provide a realistic aural experience that helps listeners conceptualize the story. The music supports the mood and scene transitions throughout the performance…Enjoyable listening.” AudioFile
