Better Than the Original

What a striking difference between the original Disney take and their revised second take. I can’t help but view Maleficent as sympathetic and heroic. If anything, Aurora is merely a foil for Maleficent, forcing her to question the darkness and desire for revenge that she has allowed to consume her. Once bitten, twice vengeful. Lucy Rayner’s narration is right on the mark.
