A Roman soldier, Marcellus, wins Christ’s robe as a gambling prize. He then sets forth on a quest to find the truth about the Nazarene’s robe—a quest that reaches to the very roots and heart of Christianity. Story

Uplifting and intriguing. I can see how this could happen

The author takes us through a fictional but logical progression of extremely early Christian faith development through the life of the likeable and honorable Centurian responsible for the actual crucifixion of Christ. Despite that heavy statement, this story is a skillful and uplifting tale expostulating what might have happened in such a way as to be both enjoyable and believable. Recommended for anyone who enjoys a good read in general or historical fiction in particular, and everyone that would like a breath of fresh air blown on their own Christian faith.
