Author Bio: V. E. Mitchell

V. E. Mitchell has written for the Star Trek book series since 1990. After attaining a degree and career in geology, she went on to earn four more college degrees, including a Master’s, MBA, and PhD. While working as a mine historian for the Idaho Geological Survey, she won the 2006 Esto Perpetua Award for her contributions to Idaho history. In 1977, she joined the Palouse Empire Science Fiction Association, quickly becoming a key member.
