Soldier to Civilian: A Guide for Transitioning Service Members

When you first entered the military, you had and endless supply of books, online videos, and web sites telling you everything you needed to know about the enlistment process. Now that you have served honorably, how do you transition out of the military and begin a successful civilian career? Where are the books telling you how to complete the transition process and prepare yourself for civilian life? This book describes how I successfully transitioned from the military back to civilian life. It discusses some of the common pitfalls that transitioning service members make, and it offers some pointers and suggestions to make your transition as smooth as possible.
