Summary of Eli Sanders's While the City Slept is a journalistic work portraying the series of events that led up to a sexual assault and homicide in an outlying neighborhood of Seattle, Washington. The victims were Teresa Butz and Jennifer Hopper, who lived in a peripheral neighborhood called South Park. Isaiah Kalebu was convicted for the murder.
