A Fated Vow

As the only living heir, I was supposed to wed Vanderlyth's most notorious sack of potatoes. Except, our ship went down and said potato sailed away in the only lifeboat, leaving me to drown. My last image? His middle finger.

I take shelter inside an abandoned castle, but while trying to discern a way out of this mess, a hauntingly flirtatious demon spots me.
