I knew that there was a strong possibility when I came to see Ben that

he'd ask me that question. I haven't shared the painful details of what

happened in Clive's office before I quit my job with anyone. After bolting

out of Corteck's headquarters, I went straight to the apartment I shared

with Rebecca. I'd thrown everything I owned back into the two suitcases I

brought with me to New York and I raced out of the building even though it

was the middle of the day and she was still at work. She'd tried to call and

text me several times since I moved out two days ago, but I have nothing

to say to her. She's Clive's friend and she had to have known that he

wanted me to live with her so he could hunt through my computer when I

wasn't home.
